HOMER

I started at Homer Elementary in 2022.  I am the School Nurse.

Prior to becomming a school nurse I worked in a hospital setting.  I have been a nurse since 2006.  I have worked in the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Room, Labor and Delivery Unit and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  Throughout my career i have been driven by a passion to help others.  I have always enjoyed helping children and teaching them and their parents.  I feel that my experiences in acute care will help me provide great care to all of our students.  

I have been married to my wonderful husband for fifteen years.  We have four children.  Two of my children go to Francis Elementary and Byng Junior High.  The older two are grown and out of school.  I am from Francis and grew up here.  I have many family members that live close by.  

I enjoy reading, listening to music, cooking, crocheting, gardening, and traveling.  When I am not working my favorite thing to do is have all of my kids together and spend time with them.
