HOMER

I began teaching with Byng Public Schools in the Fall of 2020. I am currently teaching 4^th grade at Homer Elementary where I teach ELA, Social Studies, and Science. 

I began my teaching career in 2010 at Wetumka Public Schools. While at Wetumka, I taught 6^th grade ELA and Social Studies. In 2012, I got a job closer to home at Konawa Public Schools. I taught at Konawa for 8 years where I taught 4^th and 5^th grade. 

I have been married to my husband, RJ, since 2006. We have 2 boys that both attend Byng Public Schools. We are the proud owners of 2 dogs! 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading and going for walks. I also love to watch sports, especially the Oklahoma City Thunder and any college football game that is competitive! I love to go to my son’s baseball games and other activities. I also love to travel, especially to a beach somewhere!
